Planning your day

Take your time

With each event, new lessons are learned. And so in an effort to improve on 2016, I’ve made a few changes that I think will make your time at Summer’s End relaxing and inspiring. The schedule has been trimmed down to make it simpler for you to choose which sessions to attend, the first two sessions presented by our featured presenters are two hours long with a half hour break for morning tea. The afternoon will have nine 60-minute sessions on offer, three to choose from each hour, with 15 minute breaks in between.

Logistics

Answers to many of your questions will likely be found on the FAQs page. This page will address questions on the venue, accommodation, food and what you should bring with you on the day. Remember, this is a new venue with no accommodation on site.

When it comes to planning your day, the Schedule will be most helpful. The most important thing to remember is to arrive early (as early as 7am) to register and to give yourself time to become familiar with the venue itself. There is no need to reserve your place in advance for specific sessions. Although having said that, you may want to plan out your schedule beforehand so that you can immediately go to your next session to reserve your place, and then spend a few minutes to relax or have a chat with a fellow yogi until the session begins.

The session titles and descriptions will be listed on the Sessions page as soon as they are available. So check this page regularly because it will be a work in progress up until, quite possibly, the week of the festival.

The same applies to the List of Presenters page. This is where you will find the names and bios of each presenter, along with links to their websites. Do a bit of research on your own to find out which presenters might be of most interest to you.

There is no need to print any of these web pages out beforehand. You will be given a copy of the schedule, session descriptions, and presenter bios upon registration.
